According to the research, it has been observed that consuming beer reduces the risk of heart disease. It is good for your health. As per the various studies, it has been proven that moderate consumers of beer live longer than teetotalers. But you should not drink too often. Occasionally it is okay to have a beer.

From a health perspective, it is low in calories, low in carbohydrates, and has no fat or cholesterol. It is rich in vitamins. There’s a myth about beer that it gives you a beer belly. It is not the case. It doesn’t give you a beer belly, instead, it helps in fighting cancer.

1. Moderate consumption of beer can protect you from cardiovascular disease

The researchers said five of the six studies they chose to review identified a "protective effect of moderate alcohol consumption on cardiovascular disease." This was true of those who regularly drank 400ml of beer per week compared to abstainers and occasional drinkers.

2. Beer can prevent diabetes in men

The researchers said: "Compared with occasional beer drinkers, men who did not drink beer had a significantly higher risk of developing glucose dysregulation, suggesting that occasional beer drinking may have a protective effect against diabetes in men.

3. Beer Linked to Healthier Bone Density

When looking at bone density and fracture risk in older adults, the researchers in the current study said that low drinking was associated with a lower risk of fractures. For this variable, they suggest that the non-alcoholic components of beer may also be involved, as other compounds present in beer (e.g., phytoestrogens such as 8-isoprenenaringenin) work synergistically with silicon to stimulate osteoblasts, improves bone structure and helps remineralize bones and teeth.

4. Beer can lower cholesterol

The researchers highlighted several studies showing that beer helps boost the production of good cholesterol and regulates the body's processing of bad cholesterol, thanks in large part to the antioxidants in premium beer, which are consumed when consumed. Found in very small amounts of beer (15ml-30ml per day).
