Hello my name is Candice. I wanted to join this forum to connect with others like myself. I live in the middle east and am terrified of being my true self to my family. I have never come out to tell them because I know if I do, they will disown me. Also, being a lesbian in my country is a disgrace, and you can get prison time. I dream of leaving here and moving somewhere else where I can be myself. I feel like I'm stuck. So i wanted to connect with other people and see if they have any advice on how to tell my parents about my sexuality. Once I can get over this, i want to be free and find a soulmate. Im almost 40 years old, if I not do it now, then it might never happen
