flying and vertigo

I've had severe vertigo for years, and no one has been able to help me. I'm going on a cruise to Alaska, and I'm terrified of flying. When I take off, my ears pop, the room spins, and I go into complete panic mode. I can't even focus or function on the plane because I'm in such a panic. what should i do?
