Because some men sexualize lesbians and want to be close to them and see stuff they do with other girls, it can also be that since their females, they are not sexual creatures and are loving, affection-based people in the eyes of others. Gay men are considered sexual monsters and, as I have heard them, called “living cum dumpsters”.
Many believe that the way men treat women is how gay men are going to treat them, and that scares them a little. Men are supposed to have low self-control, and females are thought to have high self-control. Lesbians are considered to have excellent self-control because they like females, and gay men are supposed to have little to no self-control and will be perverted sex demons.
My answer may sound weird, but it is true if you listen to how people talk about lesbians and gay men.
